Deppy Vasileiadis was born in Athens in 1955. She was the wife of Nikos Vasileiadis and mother of Vyron and Filippos Vasileiadis. Deppy was a passionate, active and sensitive person who loved life and through her charitable work protected the environment, animals and children in need. Her caring character and actions were the vehicle through which she was inspiring people to act.

To honour her memory and the devotion she showed to those around her, her eldest son, Vyron Vasileiadis, decided to establish the Non-Profit Organization (NPO) "Deppy Vasileiadis." Its goal is to undertake and support initiatives, entities, institutions, and organizations that share the same goals and values.

The main purpose of the Deppy Vasileiadis Non-Profit Organization (NPO) is to protect human rights and, in particular, children's rights, to support education and, in general, the welfare of the younger generation, as well as to combat cruelty to animals.
